ABOUT ME

29 year-old teacher travelling in Japan for the first time. I'll be in Tokyo, Yokohama and Kyoto from the 13th to the 27th and I'm looking for someone who could host me and/or show me around.

I'm working in Montreal (Québec - Canada). I teach sociology at University of Montreal and wish to work as a social sciences journalist later on.

In general, I'm always happy with some trip hop and down tempo (DJ shadow, Bonobo, Ratatat, Portishead, Goldfrapp, Massive Attack, Air , ...) and for party time hip-hop and house music... And classical jazz.

Always a book with me !!!!! I'm adicted to books. Essays and fiction. For pleasure or my studies. Favorite authors ? Nabokov, Mishima, Ernaux, Kundera, Sartre, Borges, Gombrowicz, Mann, Kafka, García-Márquez, François Rabelais... I just like to read..

Watched the sunrise on the Amazon ; I had a boa constrictor as a pet in south america ; road trips through the US (Montreal-San Diego) ; an evening with my bestfriend is always something great ; sky diving in the Alpes ; bungee jumping ; being a volunteer in an english school in China...

I know 1001 recipies ! I love to cook. I can teach french, rock climbing, thai boxing, how to use a camera, and many useless things :-).
