I would love to see as much as possible of this world: Experience the unbearable heat in Australia, the cold winds in Canada and everything in between. Spend a few days in the calm cities of Norway, but also in the never sleeping Singapore. Sometimes take a challenging hike through the mountains or the jungle and sometimes just take it easy on the beach. I want to get to know as many people as possible and I would love to get to know their story. I would love to go diving, skydiving included. Shortly put? I really want to live life to the fullest!

I am quite calm, you won't see me running around the living room, but non the less I am always in for a good talk! Especially when having a nice cup of coffee!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I really enjoy company! Next to that: I don't like being seen as a tourist. (But let's be honest. Who does?!) I would rather follow you showing me around and experience the local culture and nature this way than visiting all the tourist attractions, paying way too much for my coffee and standing in line with all the others just to be able to take a picture.

Interests

I've always been interested in filmmaking: My dream profession! Film gives me the opportunity to fantasize about, and visit places I've never been. Get to know and tell the most inspirational stories of a wide range of people. So be warned, I might bring a camera when visiting you! ;)

Furthermore? I'm the type of guy that would rather enjoy a peaceful evening at the beach with my friends, some relaxing music and a campfire than go crazy on a dancefestival or in a club. (Although a party every once in a while won't hurt either. If you have a fun suggestion, I will most likely join you. First round on me!) And although not capable of producing any sound on whatever instrument, I would love to hear you sing and play on your guitar, piano, etc.

When in a city, I mostly enjoy the city's atmosphere. The people, the culture, THE FOOD!! But when entering nature, I like to be active. I like to go diving (although not yet ever done before), mountain biking, hiking, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not much of a reader, but I have a very big collection of movies and music I just love. Especially worth mentioning, my absolute favorites, are the films of Pixar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went roadtripping with a friend of mine. Our goal was to spend as little money as possible. With old fashioned cardboard signs we stood next to the highway at a gasstation and lifted to Antwerpen within a day. We explored the city by bike and really enjoyed our stay. With no expectations at all, everything was "better than expected"! We had not the time to go any further and thanks to errors near the rail, took the Thalys back home for free. It may have been a short trip, but it was awesome! :D
