ABOUT ME

I was born in Solothurn (next to Bern) in Switzerland and grew up there. When I was 12, I moved to Bern which is where I live now.

I am currently taking an apprenticeship in Computer Science in Bern and will either keep working or go to the university later on, I don't know for sure yet.

I love traveling and discovering new cities and places, which is why I love couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop learning.

Not only in terms of school and universities, but also in terms of getting to know new places, cultures, people and discovering new things you have never seen before.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been traveling the area of California in September and October in 2009 and surfed twice in Los Angeles. Both hosts were truly amazing, they showed me around and took me to places I wouldn't have discovered if it weren't for them. I am deeply grateful and can't wait to give something back to the CS community!

I hosted somebody from Canada for two days which was great fun too.
The reason I don't get too many requests from CS surfers is probably that I live on the countryside of Switzerland, which really isn't a very busy place.
However I'd love to help people by giving them a place to stay and showing them around. If you're planning to come to Switzerland, maybe even Bern, just let me know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think it's a great concept and idea, it really connects people with similar interests and / or plans and makes everything easier for everyone.

It also helps meeting new people and participating at local activities which I think is great to really get to know a place.

Interests

As mentioned before, I love traveling, discovering new places and meeting new people.

My hobbies, next to computers, are photography, listening to music, watching tv shows, enjoying the weather, hanging out with friends, surfing, snowboarding and other kinds of sports.
