About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Love life & Live love

ABOUT ME

I love my life! And i love the people that make it interesting-- i.e. you, the traveling spirits, those who wander but are never lost...

PHILOSOPHY

the light in me honors the light in you. (namasté)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to explore all Hawaii has to offer, whether it be a mountain adventure, yoga class, a bar hop, cs mtg, interesting lecture, or sunset surf... I'm down for it all!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfed with some amazingly beautiful people throughout my months in New Zealand-- i truly know how stoked you can be to have a couch and company (after days freedom camping in the boondocks!) i love the exchange of ideas, visions, music, and love. really, i think the most powerful part of CS is realizing how inherently GOOD and similar people really are(despite all the fear-mongering and hatred-breeding that happens on the daily news).

Interests

outdoors adventures (surfing, kayaking, hiking), slam poetry, freestyling, jam sesh-ing, geetar, farmer's markets and yummy kitchen creations, social theory, capoeira, good beer, dancing, yoga, buddhism/zazen, handstands, social justice, the world and its workings.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got rocked n rolled by the christchurch earthquake! also, heli-rescued a hiker who fell down a 50 ft waterfall, shattered jaw, broken pelvis, tailbone, elbow, etc... Feeling pretty lucky to still be alive at this point. You just never know, eh?

Teach, Learn, Share

would love anyone to speak french or spanish with, or someone that actually knows the harmonica (i've been trying to learn for years!)any sort of creativity is always welcome! Also working on deepening my understanding of buddhism and meditation, so would be great if anyone digs that.

as for things to teach-- i whittle spoons, know most of the stars in the sky, and can start a fire from two sticks!
