ABOUT ME

I am looking for a fun time and a chance to explore the world in an interesting and creative way. Life tends to get a little monotonous without the hopes of intrigue and spontaneity. I enjoy people who are silly and genuine, and like to think of myself that way as well.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to be the best person I can, and make the world around me as good as I can. In order to do that, I think it is important to not shy away from adversity or discomfort, and approach every situation with humility and honesty.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to take someone out for a beer or some coffee, show someone around town or do what I can to make Portland an easier place to be. Unfortunately, right now, I cannot host as I am without a couch, but I am up for catching a drink or whatever.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a few people through couchsurfng, and have had great experiences. Have not done a lot of surfing or hosting, but am interested in getting more involved.

Interests

I love to draw, write, and create...always interested in learning or exploring...I love hiking/camping, although I hardly ever get to do it...have been thinking of getting into kayaking or windsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, and anything I can get my hands on, but mainly fiction. Tom Robbins, Chuck Palahnuik, Hunter S Thompson, Matt Ruff...

I like stupid silly movies. Top five. Princess Bride, Boondock Saints, Waynes World, I heart Huckabees, Cry Baby.

I like all kinds of music, and there is always a great show to go check out in PDX

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: The selfless act of donating your fulltime life to helping change the conditions of poverty all around the world--and I have met quite a few amazing people here in Portland too.
