I'm an adventurer, that classifies myself as an "outgoing introvert."

Travel is my biggest passion. I have been to a few places in my life... the Bahamas, Hawaii, Alaska....
but have been busy raising children for the last couple of decades. Now that THAT task is complete, I am ready ready ready to see the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about this from a friend a couple of years ago, & I was blown away... This is awesome!!

When I'm not rooming with my daughter, or my sister anymore, I certainly shall off up my couch as a host.

Meanwhile, there are some places I want to visit, & I am ready to couch surf!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love comedies, as far as movies are concerned.
My favorite books are of the self-improvement genre.
I like a wide variety of music, but probably my favorites are world music, ambient, & electronica.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been sky diving 5 times. And sailed the Bahamas three times.

And now I can add that I'm officially an international traveler, as of Fall 2016... Costa Rica, baby! I solo backpacked there for 6 weeks! Wow- what an adventure!

I can teach basic yoga & tai chi... plus many relaxation techniques like basic massage & deep breathing exercises, as well as meditation.
