❗At the moment I can't host anyone - I don't have where, because I gave away what I was renting and at the beginning of 2022 started long term travelling / working / volunteering abroad lifestyle. So at the moment time by time I would be interested just to meet and hang out or to be your guest.

In most cases I am calm and quiet, sometimes completely opposite - can be really active and talkative about topics I am interested in. I like to keep all in order, love to be informed about what I need to know - don't like chaotic and unpredictable things which disorders my plans. For example if you said you will be in time I expect that, if you said you will be on second part of day, I don't wait you on exact time. Just do what you said or if something changes, warn me about that. Otherwise I can be really flexible, understanding, accepting.
I like nature, being in it, knowing new people and culture. I am not from those who like to go to pubs or similar places, I almost don't use alcohol and I don't smoke (even haven't tried to do it). I prefer other kind of adventures, for example I can go hiking in night in complete darkness, sleep under clear heaven or do something else similar. I will really evaluate people's stories about their life experiences what creates each of us individual and unique. I want to explore world and life, to see wonderful places and landscapes, to know local life and culture. I would say most of time I am curious about all of this.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like this concept, the true spirit of couchsurfing (cultural exchange, meeting new people, sharing, cheaper travelling). I like to host people and meet with so different personalities from different cultures. From each I can learn something.

To new members or to those who have forgotten: couchsurfing isn't just a free accomodation, also it isn't a dating platform.

Music, Movies, and Books

I do not have one movie, book or something else that I like.

I like comedies, romantic movies, sometimes thrillers or detectives. I like different reality shows. Don't ask me the names of movies or actors - I just don't remember them. Maybe except the names of some really famous movies.

My favourite books are detective novels and esoteric books. Unfortunately in last years I have read only educative books for my work.

I listen music very rarely. I myself turn on some music maybe once or twice a year. Of course we live in communities and music is a lot around us. Better I like silence or nature sounds, from music I think I prefer meditative music and old classical music which gives inner harmony not more stress.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Don't have just one thing, so some amazing things:
# volunteering one month in Cyprus, one month in Greece, 4 months in Morocco;
# in 2016 quit stable job in science (researchers position) where I worked 6 years and became a self-employed person combining all my interests and professions;
# did paragliding with instructor over Riga in Latvia and over Alps in Germany;
# sleeping in a tent in minus 3 degrees;
# sleeping in the sleeping bag in the winter (25th December) at the top of 28 m high wooden watching tower, when wind is blowing with 12 m/s;
# filming in Latvian movie as background actress;
# hiking 10 km in water (river) against stream (several times);
# traveled to my memories of my past lives, some alternative future moments, common information field, other worlds (I don't mean planets), met and talked with light beings, also angels, higher teachers; have felt how it is to be incarnated in animal, plant and cliff physical bodies and how it is to feel yourself as completely different energy not here on Earth or soul level outside the physical body;
# was in a meditative state when my breathing was very slow and almost invisible and I started to feel breathing through all my body through my skin;
# hiked in mountains in Cyprus, Poland, Canada, Romania, Greece Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany - one of my small dreams that I hope to continue to do in future (I just love mountains);
# tried introductory lesson of scuba diving in one old quarry in Latvia (wouldn't say I liked this experience);
# etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show interesting things in nature, tell what I know about nature (I am a biologist). I can show you interesting places in nature in Latvia. I can teach some basics of photography. We can talk also about travelling, astrology, reincarnationology. Also I can share any information or my experience I have.

Everyone can join the hikes in nature or excursions in Riga I organize in Latvia. Of course while I am traveling, I don't organize them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share any experience I have, depends what you are interested in. Of course I can cook, if you want, keep everything clean and organized, respect and adapt to your time and way of living, etc.
