ABOUT ME

Well, describing yourself is always a difficult one. My students wrote on my birthday card, that i'm friendly, funny, smart, fair and a Math and English teacher, so that's for start. I would add open-minded, easy to talk to, patient and quite organised.
I'm passionate about my job, sometimes a bit too much, so i keep rambling about school. But i teach special children who say and do a lot of funny things, so people find my stories usually entertaining.
I love travelling and been away quite a bit in the last years. I never do too much sightseeing, instead i love hanging out, meeting new people and sharing stories. And that's how most of my best travelling stories started...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't surfed any couches with CS just yet, but stayed with people i met on the way travelling a lot, so sort of expierenced ;-)
Always loved staying with locals, because they take you to great places, teach you about their way of living and make the expierence more real. I don't care abour seeing all the sights from the guide book, i'd rather sit in bar where tourist don't go (or someones kitchen) and share stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meeting a great family in Chile who took me on a try-out 3 day horse treck. The track had never been ridden as such and the local tourist board wanted to try it out to get it ready to sell for tourists. So a gang of local people + me went out into the middle of nowhere, slept in tents, cooked over a bonfire and got quite lost...
