Just got back from an amazing 2 months backpacking in Europe 🌍

I am here to make connections with a variety of people,and cherish those global friendships in the long run.

I would like to take all opportunities to travel around the world when I'm still young and leave some travel footprints 👣

ABOUT ME

My name is Bala Ganes! 22 year this year! I was conscripted into the Singapore Army at the age of 18 and served 2 years of service! After completed my Army duty.I decided to take a 1 year GAP year to travel,which turns to be 2 year this year 2018...

I went on a two months long solo backpacking trip across Europe.Now that I'm back and have no current plans to travel,I would like to give back to this amazing community! I’m pretty Free on most days,I can show you what the little red dot has to offer 🤗

I study Diploma in Culinary Arts in Shatec,I've a passion for cooking that's reason I went culinary school.I work as Chef best job btw,where can you get free food everyday HAHA

Each country and city has their own specialty and uniqueness that l really can't wait to discover them as l continue using this app.

Singapore is a small but vibrant country.It's most well known for its extensive array of food dishes that comes from many races and cultures.If you don't mind,I can try to cook up some Singaporean home-cooked dishes for you 👏🏾

Asia is an awesome place to be,it really is but I do wish to live somewhere away for a couple of years to experience another country.

I enjoy meeting new people,so if you are keen to catch up with some conversation then so am I.Be yourself and we will have a good time.Lets make memories,thats what life is about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What I really like about couchsurfing so far,it kinda brings the world to me.Especially when they share bits of themselves/cultures with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I would have to say,serving the country for two years.If not for army,l think I'd be a very boring person.

Getting the chance to shoot an MG (Machine Gun) in my life I never thought I will get a chance to do that!
