ABOUT ME
Still in school at the age of thirty, I like to look at that as a sign of me being an academic, not a slacker, hehe.
And I do like learning about all different things, people say I am curious, I guess I am, but it's hard see yourself from a distance.
Some things I do know about my self
My family is very dear to me,
I am lucky having cool parents, that even fallowing (or even dragging) you down the Colca Canyon and up to Machu Picchu.
I couldn't imagine more fantastic sibling, that I share everything with, worldview, values and a bloody good time
My friends shape my being as almost as much my next of kin, and I consider myself very lucky in that respect.
PHILOSOPHY
come on, be kind

Music, Movies, and Books
Music plays a really big role in my life. I used to be an indie rock and roll kid, reading pitchfork like the bible and going to shows once or twice a week. Artists I fell in love with at that time range from (I could fill pages) At the Drive In to Sufjan Stevens, Animal Collective to the Postal Service, Black Dice to Bonnie Prince Billy.
A couple of years a found my inner rhythmic side and got deep into dance music, Berlin minimal, Detroit techno and deep deep house.
Today I the boom boom boom takes up most of my time, but I wish I had more time for all types of music.
I really enjoy to motion picture format to convey feelings and ambience. I don't see to many movies though since I haven't owned a TV for years. I do go to the movies quite regularly but pick my flicks well, perhaps a little too well. I guess my favorite movie of all time would be Baraka, I am also a great fan of David Lynch, Werner Herzog and others.
If only I had more time to read, especially fiction. In recent years I've only had time to read books such as The Omnivores Dilemma, In Defense of Food, Freakonomics and such. Though I did manage to squeeze Rabbit Run in there soon after Updike passed.
