I love speaking German and Spanish, history, cinema (European, horror and noir) and live jazz. If you think we have stuff in common go ahead and drop me a line! I'll be in Cambridge, MA until the end of April.

I like to meet like-minded people everywhere I go and walk, talk and come up with epic things to do

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've crashed on lots of couches/chairs/floors of complete strangers everywhere I've traveled and it's been really amazing every time - Couchsurfing is incredible.

I'm mostly into languages, cinema and history, but I'm interested in more or less everything except possibly gardening and knitting patterns

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite directors are Haneke, Kubrick, Fassbinder, Park Chan-wook... I love noir, horror and dark European films (Das weisse Band, Come and See, TheImport/Export). Double Indemnity, Gilda, Oldboy and Amores Perros are other favorites.

Books... Too many of those! I love The Eye of the World, The Dark Tower. pretty much everything by James Clavell, Gerald Durrell, Marquez, Stephen King, George Orwell. I also read a lot of history and philosophy these days

TV series: Arrested Development, Rick and Morty, Archer, The Wire, Twin Peaks, Peep Show, Black Books, Game of Thrones

In terms of music, I like jazz, bluegrass, some hard rock stuff and lots and lots of Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hitchhiking across Europe to collect a pair of jeans I'd left in Berlin, taking part in the 2014 protests in Venezuela, changing Bulgarian law, working as a projectionist in a cinema and as a bartender in 4 different countries..
