Drawing from my own experiences, I've come to realize that there's truly no better way to grasp and absorb the culture and customs of a foreign country than by engaging with the locals. While staying at a hotel and exploring the sights has its merits, it merely scratches the surface – akin to observing a watermelon from its exterior. You might note its green color, but that's about it.

On the flip side, opting to stay with a local provides you with a profound understanding of what lies beneath the surface – a genuine sense of life in that country, a deeper insight into its people, their behaviors, and their beliefs. It goes without saying that forming new friendships also comes into play. This is exactly why I'm an active member of Couchsurfing.

Intereses

I'm quite the adventurer at heart. I thoroughly relish mountain hiking and kayaking.

In my explorations, I've crossed paths with nearly all the creatures that inhabit the European woods: wolves, deer, wild hogs, badgers, foxes, hares, eagles, and even a bear.
