About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make my theory of colours become true!

ABOUT ME

I'm not the typical italian man: don't wear any sunglasses, I hear from my mom once a month, I can cook, and I don't like Pavarotti and soccer at all.

I was born in Florence, 1969 27th april. But we travelled a lot coz of my dad's job so I never got close youth friends. I left mommy's wing at 20 and start travelling on my own. I worked in London for about 5 years, 1 year in Greenwich (CT) USA, and other smaller periods around in Europe.

I enjoy friends and have people around. I can do very stupid things sometimes (or very "deep thinking" if some alcoohol circulates in my blood..), but I'm mostly quiet and relaxed. My worst features are my inexistant smile and my attitude to show off (coz I like to be liked). And sometimes I get distracted too, and women simply hate me for that!

PHILOSOPHY

I have a really bad attitude toward italians, but being an italian too, I have to cope with that. I think we are selfish, cocky, and not sincere at all.

My motto is: "better a dreadful end, rather than an endless dread.." so maybe this is why I haven't married anyone yet...
Just kidding! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I'm living in China for work, not much of a tourist location

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No one yet.

Interests

Don't ask me about italian football because I dunno ANYTHING about it, and not, I don't know Vieri personally (I would add: thanks God). I'm not really into mafia, and if you want to kill your husband I'm not the right one to ask.

I love cooking and painting (hey, I'm a man!) and to compose some music (in english) that I play and sing by myself. Problem is that when I compose I can't really understand if the song is good or not; I mean, maybe the initial idea was good, but then I start changing it and most of the times it ends like a real mess.
Love reading too, and I like that my bookshelf is bigger than my LCD TV. Other interests involve photography, pottery and mosaics making, every musical instruments, flowers and plants, and maybe some other stuff I don't remember right now.

Oh, and I also like to invent some strange and revolutionary (read: crap) theories on how to improve things in world. Being theories never proved, I can always pretend I can be a real hero, if only I would :)

Music, Movies, and Books

What should I write here? My hit list? I just read, listen and watch anything that doesn't really bore me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Uhm... I'm one of the very first ones to try bungee jumping here in italy, and I never, never (never) will try it again.
I've seen a practical demonstration of cold fusion (amazing, but lasted only few secs)

I've seen a plane crash (Linate, Milano) but that was not amazing at all.

Teach, Learn, Share

Uh! Kinda show off here!

I can teach IT to who is really dumb towards it :P
I can cook quite good but I'm always on learning new stuff.
I can teach you how to sing maybe. I really cannot teach you how to paint coz when I do it I don't really know what I'm doing myself..
I'm very good at.. improve something from an "already created" idea. Sometimes I think I don't have any creativity at all, maybe is true, dunno.
