Getting to know Indonesia before I start work here in August. Hopefully pick up some of the language before then.

ABOUT ME

After graduating from flightschool in 2010 I moved to Africa to get a job overthere. I flew small aircraft in Namibia for a while. After that I worked in Germany to learn the language. Since there weren't any flying jobs around I applied for a local company in Indonesia. After the interview they told me that I am hired and can start working in August 2013. Until then I will get to know Indonesia a bit before I am too busy with the flying stuff :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had some couch surfers when I was living in Holland and I've met with some couchsurfers in Namibia. Currently I am open for a beer or coffee with any fellow travelers or locals that just want to hang out.

All the couchsurfers I've had on my couch were nice people so I can't complain

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo flying an airplane and/or glider flying a plane for over an hour just on the energy of a thermal.
Or flying a small bush plane over the Namib desert getting significantly less paid than minimum wage.

But don't ask if the Dutch still wear wooden shoes and live in windmills :P
