Overview
About Me
I moved to Italy about a month ago. I'm here to study a course called " lingue, culture, lettere, e traduzione" ( languages, cultures, literature, and translation) at Sapeienza University and I am very much excited about it!
Before coming here I was an English teacher for almost 8 years and I love, love, loved it! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, since I just moved here, I don't have many friends in the city and honestly it is not that fun exploring a new city on your own especially if that city is amazing Rome!
Interests
I like to walk around for a long time which is why I also love hiking that combines two of my passions; walking and being in the nature!
Generally all kinds of sports interest me especially swimming, tennis, skiing, jogging, and indoor climbing.
I have a special bond with cats :p ( had 14 of them before moving to Rome!)
I love to read and never say no to a good exhibition!
If I have time, I would like to pack my backpack, hit the road and see as many cities as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite author is "Milan Kundera" from Czekoslovakia especially his book called " the unbearable lightness of being" and also one of his other books " slowness".
I also like Russian authors and my favorite short story is "overcoat" by Nicolai Gogol.
I listen to all types of music ( not a fan of heavy metal though!) and I especially like the oldies from 70s and 80s.
Olafur Arnalds, John Surman, and Ibrahim Malouf are my favorite musicians.
Movies? Haven't seen many (I'm more into series) but loved "fight club", " Holiday", and " Dancer in the dark".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to say... But I have climbed a few peaks over 4000
