ABOUT ME

I grew up and lived most of my life in Virginia, USA. Went to Emory University for a few semesters before transferring back in state to be an engineer. I spend almost as much time hiking as I do working, and I plan to keep it that way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I camped for most of my travel until I joined couch surfing. I'd like to use couch surfing to improve some language skills too! I'm currently brushing up on Spanish and looking to learn Portuguese, French, and Esperanto in the short to medium range future.

As you can probably tell, I really like hiking. I can talk for hours about hiking and other outdoor adventures. I've hike the entire Appalachian Trail and the Allegheny Trail. Interested in restoration agriculture, permaculture, and other innovative food production systems. I'm interested to learn anything you know about languages & about any low budget travel adventures you may have experienced.
