I just bought a 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon camper van, and I'm hoping to drive it to South America...and then around the world.

ABOUT ME

I'm an American guy originally from Upstate New York. I work as a Television Producer and I am based in Los Angeles - though I am often traveling / working on the road. The last few years, I have been working primarily for National Geographic.

Some of my trips...

In 2006, I volunteered in Ethiopia at the Educational Media Agency.

In 2008, I spent 6 months backpacking across Asia, from Japan all the way to India.

In 2011, I did the Mongol Rally and drove a tiny little Fiat from England to Mongolia -- and through 18 countries along the way.

In 2013-2014, I visited all 50 U.S. states within one year. The #NiftyFifty!

In 2014, I completed the Mototaxi Junket where I drove a Mototaxi (aka "sofa bike" aka the worst vehicle ever created) across the entirety of Peru from the Amazon to the Andes.

In 2015, I bought a VW Vanagon campervan named "Marty" and drove all over the U.S.A. I hope to one day drive Marty on the Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Argentina.

In 2016, I moved to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, and traveled all over the continent living in my campervan named "Maggie." I also traveled to New Zealand and Indonesia (Bali).

I attended the Olympics twice (2008 in Beijing, and 2012 in London).

I try to always on the move. And I always say YES!
