About Me

¡Hola CS!

Me llamo Baptiste, llevo unos meses en Couchsurfing y he tenido experiencias increíbles en Colombia, Estados Unidos y Canadá.

Gracias a CS, he conocido gente fabulosa y he aprendido muchísimo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Actually, I tried couchsurfing before I even knew this site existed haha ! When I was 19, my best friend and I went on a long hitchhiking trip through the south of France, sleeping at people's houses we met along the way. This experience had a profound impact on the way I travel. After that, I left the tourist trails and tried to get as close as possible to the lives of the locals without idealizing or essentializing them.
This led me to hitchhike across my country, get lost in Colombia, and take this trip to the US, which for me is the culmination of everything I want to experience
