My name is Baptiste Deschamps, I am 19 years old and I am a french international student living in Amsterdam. I like musique (play the guitare), art, sports, to travel and obviously meet people. French is my mother tongue but I am a fluent speaker in English and I am learning Spanish and Dutch. I have got good skills with mechanical things and manuel work. Pretty independent, i have got my driving licence, my motor cycle licence and I live on my own since august 2017. I am a really open minded person ready to meet new culture, ways of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on coach surfing due to the fact that I want to discover the world and as a student I do not have a suffisant income to travel as much as I would love to. This is why I think that using coach surfing to meet new people, culture every where around the world could be the perfect solution helping me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every type of music but especially chill music.
I really love cinema so I like movies with are dealing the world issues or which are making you think about the world or yourself. But I also like to watch a movie just as a distraction so in that case, I can watch anything.
I like autobiographic books and historic or philosophic books.
I also really enjoy riding bikes and any type of car, motorcycle. I have got my driving licence since June 2017.
But learning or doing new stuff is my favorite thing to do during traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the world youth days in Pologne in 2017 which was a great experiment for me because I met some people from everywhere in the world.
I also did an "interail" which made me discover with couple friends few europeans capital such as Berlin, Praha and Budapest.

This year I'am gonna do some voluntary work in Pérou for a month.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cam teach french english, or a few knowledge about art, music, or school topics.
It would be nice to learn more about what I like and about how the world is working. In those words, I mean that I am a really open person who is ready to learn things on a very large topic.
I would love to share about music, art, politic, knowledge on any subject...
