About Me

I'm a Computer Engineering student at the University of Genoa, originally from Turkey. I have a deep passion for technology and enjoy exploring new ideas and innovations in the field. When I'm not studying, I can usually be found enjoying a good cup of coffee – it's one of my greatest pleasures. I love discussing a variety of topics, whether it's technology, culture, or just life in general. I believe that exchanging ideas and learning from different perspectives is what makes life interesting. Additionally, I’m always excited to discover new places and immerse myself in different cultures, whether it’s through travel or meeting new people. I’m always open to new conversations and experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love exploring new cities, meeting people from diverse cultures, and experiencing the world in a deeper, more personal way. It's not just about sightseeing – I enjoy discovering different cuisines, learning new languages, and gaining insight into local customs and traditions. Each encounter offers a chance to broaden my perspective, and I believe these experiences help me grow both personally and intellectually. Couchsurfing provides a unique opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, and I’m excited to learn from them while sharing my own experiences as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t have a set list of specific books or music that I consider favorites, but I do enjoy a wide range of genres. For example, in fantasy, the Kingkiller Chronicle series holds a special place for me. While I enjoy the Harry Potter series, I wouldn’t say I’m particularly fond of Harry Potter himself. On the other hand, The Lord of the Rings is something I really appreciate. When it comes to detective fiction, Sherlock Holmes is a classic I always go back to. In psychology, I find myself deeply influenced by Russian literature, especially their novels. As for music, I have a background in playing the violin, which has shaped my musical taste and appreciation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done was moving from Turkey to Italy to pursue my studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Genoa. It wasn’t just an academic decision – it was an opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, meet people from different backgrounds, and broaden my horizons. This journey has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the value of stepping out of my comfort zone to chase my passions. It has been one of the most life-changing experiences so far, and I’m grateful for the personal and professional growth that has come from it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching others, especially when it comes to technology and programming. I enjoy sharing the knowledge I’ve gained in my studies, like coding in languages such as C and C++, or discussing new advancements in computer engineering. At the same time, I’m always eager to learn – whether it’s about new cultures, languages, or unique perspectives on life. I believe that sharing experiences and knowledge is one of the best ways to connect with people. I’m excited to exchange ideas, stories, and skills with anyone I meet, and I’m always open to discovering new things from others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my passion for technology, especially in the fields of computer engineering and programming. I enjoy discussing new ideas, innovations, and advancements in the tech world, and I'm always happy to exchange tips and experiences with others. Additionally, I love learning about different cultures and traditions, so I can share insights into Turkish culture, food, and customs. Whether it's a good conversation over coffee or a story from my travels, I’m excited to offer a cultural exchange and learn from my hosts as well
