I have somewhat lost trust on this website (judge its time line by yourself), but still find it useful for all of us and I try to put my grain of salt into uniting travelling experiences and spirit.
As a shallow self-description I would say: Music is central, drinking is good. Getting the essence of places and people is central, joking around is good.
Sense of humour is central and good.

Being an active member since many years, I can tell you: this site is not what it used to be. First a non-profit organization and now a for-profit corporation!!
Nevertheless, people with good spirit and great experiences remains! And it is still a great way to get to know the real essence of the places you visit.
Just beware of your personal information and treat this site as an agent of the powerful... If you mind at all, of course.
