Hi, I'm Barbara, 23 and looking for new experiences! I just finished my studies in international relations and I am full of projects I want to achieve. I have been doing a lot of project abroad since I was 16 (teaching English, organizing a circus festival...). After 2 years working as a parliamentary assistant in the French Parliament I deciced to take some time of travelling around the world, meeting new people, discovering other cultures, cuisines and learning languages!
I am currently in South America where I've started my trip in Chile 🌺🌏

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is the best way to travel if you want to get an authentic overview of a culture, of people's habits. Also, I love discovering new dishes and cooking/eating habits, which is only possible when spending some time with locals!

Interests

At home, I love spending my free time dancing and doing yoga. Since I am a food lover, I like inviting my friends and family around a great meal at home. 2 years ago, I have also discovered myself a passion for original beers and I had the opportunity to make my own beer during a brewing workshop. When I travel, I am looking for discovering beers from everywhere around the world and learn to cook special dishes. I also like big walks among beautiful landscapes.

Music, Movies, and Books

Before my master's degree, I have been studying literature at the university and I have therefore read a lot of classics! I don't have a favourite book or a favourite movie since I am completely unable to choose among all the books and movies and I have read or seen. For the moment, I love love stories (The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the Notebook, M. Nobody)... But my favourite guilty pleasure is to watch Harry Potter !
