Hi there! My name's Barbara. I really enjoy spending my time with new people, exploring new countries and, most of all, learning new languages. I'm friendly and I want you to spend a nice time here in my place.

As an host I like to spend my time with surfers, when they want it too. But it doesn't mean that I'm your personal driver or your touristic guide! Everyone has his life and sometimes it's impossible to spend time together (because of work or illness, it can be happened). I want to be a person with whom you can spend time if it's possible to do it, we don't "have to".
On the other hand, I don't like so much if you treat my home like an hostel. It isn't.
So, we'll try to meet us halfway!

I prefer to host people from Slavic countries. I feel a special connection with them and I've spent so many years studying their culture. For me the best exchange it's with them. I always learn something new. And more, they are so kind and have a big heart, and that's exactly what I'm searching for.
It's just a preference, it doesn't mean that I decline every request from people from others countries!

P.S: review on CS helps other surfers.
I've heard a lot of terrible stories from most of you, surfers. Help to maintain CS a safe place to all. A review sometimes can save you and who comes after you.

I love learning new languages, so you can teach me something in your native language and I can do the same. We can go out together, exploring my city and the beauty of Sicily, for example Taormina, Ortigia, Siracusa and of course Catania. I have some books, you can read it if you want. Feel free to be yourself!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Feel like at home. You'll have your own bedroom (but when is free it's usually mine, so nevermind if you find my stuff there) and I can offer you the breakfast. About lunch or dinner we have to talk about. I have my car, we can share together because here is too difficult moving by public transport. Don't buy shampoo, toothpaste and so on: you can find all you need in my bathroom :)
