I am Dutch, living in Italy, I came there with the intention of staying for three months, that was 25 years ago! I fell in love with the country and its people.

I have been traveling there so much, because it offers so much, but now it is about time to start traveling abroad! Preferably by train. Enjoying landscapes, while meeting up and chatting with people is the best.

I am sociable, accomodating, curious, open, positive. And I am lazy. I like to sleep and do things 'con calma', also when I am travelling.

To stay with a local, while travelling around in places you don't know yet, and to have the opportunity to meet other fellow travellers who travel around just the same way, to share, exchange experiences and just having a good time.
And of course, offering the same in Rome, Italy where I live, me being the local, you can crash on my couch, and I'll do my best to give you tips and indications to make the best out of your stay in Rome!
