i am born and raised in Amsterdam, have 2 kids and work as a data analyst at a local retailing company (HEMA). lived and worked in Moscow and Prague, travelled in e.g. Ghana, Nigeria, Pakistan, India, South Africa and all Eastern European countries except Albania (on my list of things to do). Note: some pictures date 2023/2024 but 2 of them date 2019 so especially my kids look very different :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and to experience cities like a local. And for people visiting my home town to see more than windmills, softdrugs and the red light district.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Moscow for a year, took poledancing classes, walked 200km in 4days, cooked fresh artichokes, painted somebodies body. Recently my children and I do either backpacking and interrailing (including couchsurfing (thanks for the great hosts!!) or via ferrata holidaying.
