Hi everyone! My name is Bárbara and I'm from Brasília, Brazil. I'm very excited to join this community. I love to travel and meet new people, as you might expect. But I should also say that I'm passionate about craft beer and great wines (not necessarily in that order). My husband, Henrique (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/henriquevpontes), and I decided to take a sabatical year and are heading to the road in February 2017. Música, películas y libros

I don't have a favorite music and it's pretty easy to please me on that matter. I like almost everything.
I love Rent, the musical. I've seen the movie a thousand times, and hope to see it at Broadway one day.
My favorite book is The Phantom of the Opera (I really enjoy the last movie as well). But the style I read the most is detective novel, such as Agatha Christie and Tess Gerritsen.

I had the opportunity to participate of a Sri Lanka's traditional wedding. The bride is a dearest friend and it was amazing to visit her home town and be part of her culture, at least for a day.
