ABOUT ME

I'm a positive person. Always curious and willing to learn. I'm from Barcelona but I'm currently living in Manaus, as I'm involved in a research project about malaria. I'm a biomedical researcher and, although I like my job, I always try to have as much free time as possible to enjoy the everyday life and to travel. Happy with a big trip, a festival, or just an interesting conversation on the couch. I hate planning too much. I love discovering new music (especially during a show). PHILOSOPHY

Life is about creating yourself. Smile. Enjoy our diversity. Take the most of every experience (even the negative ones) sb never learns enough! And the most important: dreams can be true if you want.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now is quite long into CS. I've been hosting when possible, tried to be host while travelling... and I love to introduce new people to CS - although everyday more people know about it ;) I also think that CS is just an option (don't like to use it always, just when it will be comfortable for me and my hosts/guests). In other words, it's not just for saving money, needs some more ingredients.

Traveling and meeting people from each place i'm going (obviously... :P). I love good books and good wines (and beers!), photography, art (I'm starting to experience collage and painting), writing, dancing, strange movies, philosophical conversations about biosciences and "life science", clubbing and festivals. Sleep, lie on a hammock, and of course, lie naked on a solitary beach.

I'm living in small apartment in Dom Pedro neighbourhood in Manaus. There are closed by bus stops for going to the center, Ponta Negra and Praia da Lua. I can offer a mattress or hammock to sleep. Maximum 2 people.
During the week I'm pretty busy to show around, but depends on the work, I'm able to go out for dinner or a drink. During weekends I could share my time with guests to discover places around Manaus or in the city.
