I'd like to know foreign places, foreign people around the world. I'm curious how life's going on in other countries, and these meetings can give me an insight to another cultures, habits and traditions.

I'm an open-minded, friendly creature of the universe, who wants to discover all the beautiful things of our planet Earth. :) I want to see big mountains, lakes, anything that's far enough from the human civilization, where mother Nature is still untouched. Although I'm not that party-face kind of guy, I always enjoy conversations with kindhearted people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To take a step out of the grey habit of working-sleeping cycle, which takes most of my lifetime.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: there are no limits. :) However, I prefer slower, chill out type than party-music. Some of my favourites: Mike Oldfield, Jean Michel Jarre, Enya, Loreena McKennitt and many others.

I do like Lord of the rings and the whole world of J. R. R. Tolkien. :) Actually, I'm an elf. ;) And sometimes a wizard!

My name (Barnabas) means "the son of consolation", so if you have any problem in your life, I'm all ears. :)

I'm not the "very social party guy" type, I don't need to be entertained all the time, I'm perfectly fine all alone as well. :) So if you host me, you don't have to feel obliged to struggle with me. :) However, if we have thoughts in common, it's always a pleasure.
