Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, see the parts of cities I otherwise wouldn't, generally have a kickass time making new friends around the world. Same as everyone else on here!

Interests

I love playing music and in bands; I've played guitar since I was a kid but switched to bass about 3 years ago. I draw and I've been getting really into screenprinting recently. I'd like to collaborate with more people so if you want to work on something together or even just get some beers in and cover a sheet of paper (or a wall...) in drawings, let's!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into immersive world's in films and books; dense cities like in Terry Gilliam's Brazil or in Akira. I'm into a whole load of music, various stuff with guitars, various stuff without guitars, I've been on a big electronic kick for a while, and have real soft spots for decent hip hop and metal. Books... there's too many to mention, let's share stuff when we meet!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt Fuji after being in Japan for one day and not sleeping for nearly 2 days before... We fell asleep in a small cave near the top.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy cooking so we can make a meal together, I know a load of good card games (and some drinking ones too), I can teach you bits of guitar or if you already know we can jam together!
