We are based in the uk where we live off grid and I run a sustainable tourism business offering Horsedrawn caravan holidays and adventures and rent out traditional Gypsy caravans. . (See Wanderlusts Gypsy Caravans)
I’ve spent much of my life traveling both with the circus, by horsedrawn caravan, hitchhiking and generally wandering and have often relied on the kindness of strangers.
Sadly I’m unable to travel much or far at the moment due to personal circumstances, but love to meet new people and be able to offer and share our beautiful home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m joining couch surfing as it seems a great way to meet people on a level. People with local knowledge etc
I was traveling in West Africa with my two sons and wanted for them to experience as much of the life in the countries we are passing through as possible.

Now back home we want to offer the same hospitality to other strangers as we received as strangers.

Occasionally we can go on little trips and hopefully couchsurf a bit along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitched across west Africa with my two sons at the time aged 2 and 7.
Also, travelled by horsedrawn caravan from the north of England to the Mediterranean south of France.
They seem like two big achievements relevant to this. But I feel like life has been full of amazing moments, but they come out when sharing stories round the fire or over a drink usually I guess.
