I'm an easy going heterosexual male that loves meeting people and learning their story. After 15 years working in Executive Recruitment in Toronto, i left my job to pursue new interests. After extensive travel i found myself in love with the beautiful coast of Ecuador. Next thing i knew i had a partner, land and we are developing a permaculture farm growing all kinds of organic fruits and vegetables. But our primary focus is on cacao (chocolate) and coffee. We plan to construct a small eco lodge with a treehouse restaurant/bar where all the food will come from our land! I love all sports, am an avid cyclist. I feel a day just isn't quite right without spending time in the water - surf or swim. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about them. I have hosted many guests while living in a beach house in Canoa, Ecuador. Food and wine is a passion. Some say I am a good cook.
I have been fortunate to have travelled to more than 40 Countries and concluded many years ago that most of us are alike with similar goals and ambitions. I believe life is short and to live in the moment.

I'm couchsurfing for the opportunity to meet new, and interesting people. My best experiences have come when with local people to discover their place and its hot spots. Also i am budget conscious, and like to have extra cash for entertainment purposes!
