Search for a city in New England to move to where i can have daily access by foot to wild patches of earth, a University, Music and Dance

funny, creative, play funky recorder, rather bike than drive, like to dance, good listener, a little handy with some tools, whatever else i said here.

My goal is to teach about science and nature, maybe write about it and spread a little joy with music and dance and showing people the little creatures of Earth.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

years ago i did a housing swap with a guy in Ithaca NY through craigslist and that worked out great. Also i've stayed with a few people after various contradance nights, in Greenfield MA and Montpellier VT! and these past two nights in Northampton staying with a delightful woman i met through the amherst contradance.

Currently reading a little of Wilson and Holldobler: Superorganism and thinking about ant colony development vs animal emmbryology. A ton of journal articles i gotta study. Poetry, other science stuff, Moomintroll!

I like cuban music. Eliades Ochoa!guitar, renaissance, jazz. Miles is my hero. and local bands Oobleck (funk) and Russet Trio (contradance)

i aint seen a movie in a long time. Miyazaki. epic colorful movies or sometimes twisted ones like Moon.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The latest was Learning to sail with my friend in Salem Mass. Wow. (after helping rebuild the sailboat). oh, and last week we jacked up a sagging corner of the brick wall of a 4 story building here in town. 1/4 inch at a time.

ok, off the top of my head... after helping my friend put his boat on horses and haul a wheel off his boat carrier, his wife complained that there were ants all over the bathroom. I know something about ants. I was able to tell them that they were NOT carpenter ants.

I can teach alot about math, science, natural history, even computer programming.
