41, short, almost always smiled. Working at Maritime University of Szczecin.

I've never planned it actually. Hoped to graduate and work a board a tanker. But it turned out I'm quite passionate about teaching and learning. Plus hopefully there will be some publications left after I'm gone ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far - none. Up to this moment I haven't considered it as an option. I had no idea that coucheurfing is so well developed!

Intereses

Oh plenty! On the one hand - science (physics, mathematics, astronomy especially) on the other - religion and theology (being an atheist I love discussing with other people about their beliefs, always with respect).

I enjoy teaching a lot, but even more I enjoy learning new things. I'm very close to being so called MOOC addict - I'm spending more and more time doing different online courses, both for personal growth and for pleasure.

When I have some more free time I like to spend it on gaming with friends, let it be computer or board games, doesn't matter. Also: going for a long walks, kayaking or sightseeing.

Música, películas y libros

There is no single rule here, from Almodovar, through modern Chinese cinema, up to disney animations and comics adaptations.

Music: Philip Glass, Meredith Monk, Roomful of teeth, Steve Reich, Moondog, Chinawoman, Tom Waits, Kabaret Starszych Panów, Piwnica pod Baranami, Wanda Warska, Russian composers and many many more

Books: recently mostly books on data analysis, eye tracking, human computer interaction and programming. Before that: N. Gogol, G.B. Shaw, O. Wilde, H.P. Lovecraft.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Well spending 6 months on board of a tanker vessel during which I was robbed, attacked, injured and crossed the Atlantic.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Can give you a crash course in Sid Meyer's Civilization 5 or siege your castle in Heroes of might and magic. Together we can try to save the world from Chtulhu (playing one of many board games I have at home).

When there's a chance can learn you how to navigate using stars or do some telescope observations.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I've recently bought a flat in the centre of Szczecin, near Wały Chrobrego. I can offer a comfortable couch here in a separate room (see the pictures). If I have a time I will gladly take you for a walk, show some interesting places and if the weather is nice I'll invite you for a kayak trip to a wonderful area south of Szczecin.
