CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to figure out what I want from life by getting ideas from people all over the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a calm person that tries to get along with everybody. I like people that are honest to other people and to themselves. I've had my fair share of parties, mostly in electronic music, and I'm still up for a good time whenever the opportunity arises.
I like being impulsive and I try to enjoy every day, although I don't always succeed...

I'm a fast learner and good at maths and science, as you can see from my education, but I studied only to understand stuff, not with an idea for a specific job.

Problem is that I am interested in so many stuff that I don't know what I want to do with my life, therefore I want to meet lots of different people and see how people are living their lives across the globe and hopefully I'll figure out who I really am!

PHILOSOPHY

Be true to yourself and live every day, that's what I try to do (I don't always succeed). I'm often way too stressed and then I calm myself by remembering this philosophy... I sometimes (too often) feel alone even though I have a lot of friends, but I get through by knowing there's a lot of good people out there!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I subscribed myself to couchsurfing not long ago because I heard a lot about it and was thinking of doing a roadtrip with a friend of mine that is with me on my profile picture. (The roadtrip would go from Belgium through holland and Germany to poland, we'll be coming back through Czech republic).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far... Except talking to some people that know it.
I do know people in quite a few countries because of previous travels and/or festivals or work related activities and I kind of surfed a couch in poland, but not through any organisation...

If I travel I prefer to find out how people live and think in the place I go to, although I can also very much enjoy nature...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

First thing that comes into my mind is actually not so positive, but it's clearly something I will never forget so that's why I choose this one: I have been on the dump of the city of phnom penh in Cambodia where children actually live and sleep on and between the garbage :s, but they were all smiling and playing with broken toys or stuff they had found.
