I'm very easy going, always happy and I have a big interst in life itself. I really like to amaze myself by looking around and see other people, there culture, new insights and the different thoughts about all of that.. In my working life I run a shop in Amsterdam. We sell durable building materials. It's a new concept store and we hope to open more shops in the future..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This vacation I want to make a big trip across the east of europe. I'm looking for 11 couches in differtent countries. When I get back, anyone is of course welcome to try my own couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch experience... Well I just got a new couch, wich sleeps better then my own bed! So enough couch experience, but only with my own couch so far...

兴趣

I like to be busy! Beside my work I volenteeer 1 day in the week at a local farmer. Growing and harvesting crops. Love being outside getting dirty hands! I also volunteer in a cinema in the evening. so I like to watch movies and above all documentaries. Also in my free time I can’t really sit still.. I’m always thinking of new creative projects that I can start. Like a open air movie, a new cool website or something like that. And of course, like anyone else, I like to hang out with friends and drink a beer!

I like almost every music, but timing is crucial. I'm a big fan of documentaries and art house movies. And I like to read books to learn form.. philosophy and stuff like that!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

2 years ago I changed my vacation plans and started to see vacation more as a way to exeprience and try some new things. The 3-4 weeks vacation is the perfect time to do things that in your daily life isn't enough time for. So 2 years ago I worked on a commune farm in Italy, which was very nice and interesting experience. Thanks to that I still work at a local farmer! Last year I went alone by bike from Amsterdam to Rome, which was an amazing experience. Not only physical but also psychological.
This year my plan is to go travelling and being totally depended on others. I want to hitchhike and sleep by you people! Couchsufing is a great way of getting to know a city!
