About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Stop and smell the roses.
ABOUT ME
I am optimistic about life in general and have a great appreciation for many things. I'm the reflective and calm type, I love to talk to people and to learn new things.
I should mention that I love flowers, so I pretty much always visit the botanical gardens wherever I go.
PHILOSOPHY
There is a Norwegian saying that goes "You're only going to have as much fun as you make yourself".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and I host. I enjoy hosting and helping people figure out what to do while in town, I know how much I have appreciated it when someone's helped me out so I'm trying to give back to the community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed thrice, hosted four times.
Interests
A few fields of interest: urban gardening, reading, light hikes/trips (the kind where you go somewhere but wear your usual shoes). I really like reading non-fiction books and listening to podcasts like Ologies.
I love all things colourful, wonderful and fun that spring out of human creativity.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly read popular science books and some Science fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was at a festival, they'd constructed a big wood&paper zeppelin in the middle of a park lake. Suddenly 100 flying paper lanterns floated up into the sky from all around the lake. Then there was a loud bang from the zeppelin, and suddenly, thousands of balloons in all colours started flying out of the zeppelin. And so, as the balloons were disappearing into the sky, they set the zeppelin on fire, and the most amazing fireworks came up from the zeppelin.

Now if that doesn't take someone's breath away!

I can teach you to play the guitar or the piano (if you are an absolute beginner), how to make some Norwegian food or how to paint with watercolour :)
There are lots of things here in this city that I'd like to share with you, it depends on what your interests are!
