Cycling through Asia for 1 year

ABOUT ME

Male, 39 years old and starting to get bald.
Don't have children but 1 weekend a month Jait, 14 already, living in a home, spends a weekend at my place.
I'm told not to be the stereotypical accountant.

Currently living out my dream to cycle for 1 year in Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel most happy if I can help out others. I sold my car 2 years back being tired of traffic jams and decided to bicycle my way through life. Faster, less pollution and healthier.

Like to go out, just having a beer with friends and sometimes even dancing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a new member but couch surfing is not new to me at all. Many travellers surfed at my place, having met before when traveling in Morocco or just when walking around in Brussels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed my first time in Xi'an in China at Jennifer's place for 3 nights.

兴趣

Like sports but 1 bad knee (soccer-football)limits the choice to cycling and sometimes some bouldering or indoor climbing. Also like hiking, badminton,ping pong, chess, trivial pursuit, ...
Like rock music in general except for metal. I saw a lot of bands in concert.

Sierra Cazorla in Spain - almost no foreign tourists
Loved cycling in Beijing city!
Met Pope Joan Paul II in the Vatican when in Rome, private audience organized by school.
Met all Belgian princes and guided them around at Special Olympics.
