About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travelling across Canada performing at Fringe Festivals

PHILOSOPHY

I think I live to love, and love can be found in many things.
I am still thinking about this question...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to date!
Just got my boogie board and will wait for a wave...
However i have travelled a lot and slept on many couches, floors,
in basements, lofts, beaches and tents!

Interests

I love travelling to new places and discovering what makes the place tick, what is unique, what is usual and what is the heart of the place.
I am a performer and enjoy my work immensely.
The projects i do can be very diverse and no day is the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love biographies, The Sun Magazine (US based magazine - no advertising with stories, poems, photos).
Currently reading Care of The Soul.
I like a good TV series, but tend not to watch TV itself. I hire the series in chunks on DVD. Currently in the middle of The League Of Gentleman.
Loved The Office, Extras, The Mighty Boosh, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The West Wing, Six Feet Under and Deadwood.
Love lots of different kinds of films. But mostly I guess what you might describe as Arthouse films I tend to enjoy rather than blockbusters but a good story in any genre is usually good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Through my work in hospitals I spent some time with a 12 year old boy who for 6 months did not have a heart. He was kept alive by a machine. At times it was portable, on a trolley and he would wheel it about with him. This machine - like an 'outside' heart, kept him alive until he had a transplant. He used to make special lunches for the clown doctors. He was one of the most inspiring people I have met.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make GREAT breakfasts if scrambled eggs or tofu with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, avocado, basil and spuds is your thing?
Fruit crumble also a speciality and most kinds of soup!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belize, Canada, Croatia, Cuba, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
