Travel sites and blogs can tell about the places to visit, a resident can share much more. There is a lot to a destination than just the famous monuments and restaurants. Every place has a soul and the person living there can share the soul with you. Couchsurfing helps me come in contact with people who does that and gives me an opportunity to do the same. Great way to connect with local people, make friends, know their stories and share mine.

Done a lot of Adventure sports including bungee jumping, paragliding, parasailing, rafting, kayaking, snorkeling. Next in the list is skydiving.

I would like to learn a bit of local language (wherever I stay) & may be a local dish. I can teach basics of salsa, back pain massage therapy & how to tpye wrogn Englihs wehn drunk (the last bit learnt better in group). Can also cook some basic vegetarian dishes.
