I studied Graphic Design (3 years in Bilkent University, 1 year at the University of Michigan) and worked for a year in a design studio in Istanbul. After that I started living in Italy to get a master degree. You can see my work at http://cenk.it Currently designing and developing a mobile app in meditation space with an idea to lunch a start-up.

Traveling for me is a way to learn about the world, stay fresh and keep myself motivated for work. I also like taking photos while I am traveling like most people :)

I've surfed mostly in New York City. I had many great experiences there. Now I am hosting others in Istanbul.

Interests

I am a designer so anything to do with design. Also doing lindy hop swing dance, climbing, scuba diving, photography, skiing, windsurfing, surfing. And definitely travelling

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skiing, sleigh riding and snowmobiling on Colorado Mountains, scuba diving in Fethiye, driving on Transfagarasan Road, paragliding in Ölüdeniz, ballooning in Capadocia, windsurfing in Istanbul, surfing in Australia, ice-skating on the frozen rivers of Québec City, and some Greek islands I have visited were simply amazing to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Meeting people from different backgrounds is a great way to learn about the world.

I can teach Swing Lind hop or basics of tango dance (responding and walking with music. I can talk about design, tell you how much love NY :), give you tips if you wanna travel Turkey or convince you to travel Turkey if it's not already in your list.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hoping to share first of all great time, experiences and ideas. I can cook some Turkish food if we have time and resources to get the ingredients :P
