My current mission is to learn more about someone elses culture and experience it first hand

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as a very outgoing individual that loves to be around people and feels kinda awkward when I'm left alone. I feel like laughing is the best medicine and only like being around positive people because life is way to short to analyze and criticize the world around you while ignoring the beautiful! I have yet to travel anywhere besides beautiful British Colombia and Las Vegas. I have been to Mexico, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic, but its not the same when your staying at a resort that tries to make everything Americanized. I did do a little bit of traveling around outside the resort to experience the real culture, but not nearly enough time as i would like! This will be changing very soon as i will take the long flight over to London and travel around the coast of Southern France, Italy and Croatia! More than anything, I'm excited to see all of the historical buildings and landmarks that I am constantly reading about (being a History major right now) and meeting new people and learning about there stories and adventures!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couch surfing experience but am very excited to learn more about it and meet some interesting people! Unfortunately with me still at school I am living with my parents so i suppose I have been Couch surfing for the past 2 years with them... and i kick in my sleep so there is no room in my couch for anyone else... for now....

Music, Movies, and Books

Going through my Ipod, one would see many different genres including, but not limiting, Country, top 40, Opera, rock, blues, Japanese Rock, 90's dance music, 70's & 80's, Emo. I love GOOD music, whatever has a good base or lyrics, or tune, its all good man! Im always listening to music and yes i am that person driving on the road and singing and dancing along with the Music, im not embarrassed!!

Im still a kid at heart and Disney movies will always have a place in my heart! just like the music i listen to, i enjoy a wide range of movie genres. The only exception is chick flicks... I love strong women and so many chick flicks are just about a woman needing a man to complete there lives. NO! not true!!!

I love books and wish i had more time to read and didnt have to read text books. I am very picky with books and my soft spot is Greek, Roman Mythology, more about the wars like Troy and the stories behind that! Right now i am reading Angels and Demons and im loving it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the most amazing things I have done was Walking up the Dunn's Waterfall in Jamaica! Verry scary with water crashing at your feet and trying to maneuver on slippery rocks, but when you reach the top and look into the ocean... beautiful!!!
