About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Rediscover Adelaide through foreign eyes and appreciate the beautiful city I call home!

ABOUT ME

I recently came home from studying abroad at Keele University in England earlier this year, which was, without a doubt, the greatest experience of my life so far! Now I'm working full time and pining for the old days travelling Europe! I'm really open and friendly, love meeting new people and having a good time! "After work drinks" has become my saving grace these days! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Either write something worth reading, or do something worth writing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment all I can do is hang out and provide advice on what to see and do in Adelaide! I'm in the process of convincing my house mates to let us host! Please don't hesitate to send me a message, I'll be happy to answer! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still relatively new to CS but I've had some really great experiences with a couple of hosts!

Interests

I'm a people person, I love to go out and party. Since studying abroad I've caught the travel bug and want to go everywhere and see everything. I'm a writer and I try to document everything. I love great architecture and places with a lot of history and culture. I'm easy to please as long as there's good company. I will try anything once!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Snatch, The Mummy, He's Just Not Into You, Thunderstruck, Blood Diamond, Die Hard, Lord of the Rings... so many more.

Books: I read so much it's hard to narrow it down. I love everything by Robin Hobb and Terry Brooks. I also enjoyed The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas, Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs, Life of Pi by Yann Martel, and Underground by Andrew McGahan.

Music: I have a really wide music taste. Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n Eso (or any Aussie hiphop really), Black Eyed Peas, LMFAO, David Guetta, Pitbull, Mumford and Sons, Adele, Florence + The Machine, Bloc Party, Live, Franz Ferdinand, The Presets, Fall Out Boy...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Uluru (Ayers Rock) in Central Australia is definitely up there. But it's the little things too, like being the first person in my family to go to university. Moving out and living with my best friend for a year. Getting on a plane to leave my home country for the first time by myself. Studying abroad in England. Seeing a different sky at night. And all the crazy, spontaneous adventures in between.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied media at university and I write in my spare time. I'm a big story teller, I love to share my experiences, especially when they make people laugh! I feel like everyone has something they can teach you, as long as you're willing to listen and to learn :)
