Hi, my name is Basil, but my friends call me Tony, I live in south east London with my partner and 8 yr old all white deaf cat lily.
I make a variety of fashion/music/documentary/short films for a living and make music for fun..
I've been here for the past 7 years. I grew up travelling a lot with my family, brief spells in Germany/Holland/France and eventually settled in the north of England until I flew the nest to study film at university.
I like to think of myself as a chilled, easy going person who likes a laugh and an adventure.

MUSIC: Funk, soul, jazz, dub, reggae, hiphop, folk, Tropicália and dreampop jams on lazy days in my flat whilst reading books by writers such as franz kafka, audley Huxley, Haruki Murakami and Robert M Pirsig.
Punk rock, psych, garage, grunge and post punk gigs at independent venues around east London with my friends.
Electronic, house, techno, grime, rnb and classic pop when I'm up for a boogie and wanna let my hair down :)
I like films by directors such as Leo Carax, Jean Luc Goddard, Fellini, Wim Wenders, Werner Herzog, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Woody Allen. I'm obsessed with Documentaries and independent cinema.
I like to challenge my intellect as much as I can so I hold no boundry to the type of music, movies or books I will try out and it all depends on where or what I'm doing.. I do however favour topics of self discovery, humour and existentialism.

Climbed a 2000ft mountain solo within the atlas mountain region of Morocco. In fact travelling Morocco on my own was an incredibly enlightening experience.

I play musical instruments and take photographs/video professionally so I'm happy to pass on any knowledge I have in these areas.
I want to absorb as much as I can about other people, cultures and languages so would love to meet folks from all walks of life.
