I’m an 18 year old young man. I graduated from high school in June 2014 in Brussels, Belgium where my option was social sciences and languages. I’m currently doing a gap year before starting university. I was first learning Dutch in Gent and Bruges combining languages classes for almost 5 months and I’m now in Antigua, Guatemala doing volunteering in a school.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to experience travel in a different way that I have before. I want to stay with people who know the country. I’m getting tired of spending nights at hostels with the same kind of tourists. I love to travel but as you know, travel has a certain cost. Couchsurfing is also a good way to save money.

Intereses

Since I was a child I always spend a lot of hours doing sports. I first started with circus school (trapeze and acrobatics) with my best friend. Then I played badminton, tennis and swam. After a while I stopped everything to focus on gymnastics. This sport has such a huge place in my life and has taught me so many things. Other than that I love spending time with my friends. Oh, I’m also obsessed with animals.

MUSIC:
I’m such a little monster of Lady Gaga. I also love Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey.
I loved seeing Macklemore twice at a concert and I admire him.
I also like Rihanna, Kesha, Eminem, Tove Lo, The Neighbourhood, The XX, Bastille, The Script and I probably forgot a lot.

BOOKS:
I grew up with “Harry Potter – JK Rowling”. I loved reading the books and also watch the movies (more than once). My other favourites books are “Noughts and Crosses - Malorie Blackamn”, “The Declaration – Gemma Malley”. I also read “Twilight – Stephenie Meyer”, “Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins” and of course “Fifter Shades of Grey – E.L James”.

MOVIES:
I don’t really have any favourite movie. I like all sorts of movies. However, I love so many TV shows: Modern Family, Orange is the New Black, Grey’s Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, Devious Maids, 2 Broke Girls, New Girl, Awkward. I loved watching Desperate Housewives, Dexter and How I met your Mother.
