Hello, my name is Bastiaan and I am an exchange student in the United States at the University of Minnesota. I grew up in the Netherlands and I completed my undergraduate program at the University of Amsterdam. I just turned 22 and I hope to explore some of the United States this summer. I am friendly and open to new experiences.

When I start my graduate in Amsterdam in September, I will be living on my own in an apartment in Amsterdam. Soon I wil also be able to host people!

I hope to meet new people who share the passion for travelling and Couchsurfing offers a great opportunity to experience the life and culture of the places I am going to visit. Seeing more of the places and hanging out with total strangers, getting to know them and make new friends along the way.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

2016 is probably going to be the year that will be most special to me. This year I went on an exchange to a different university and I plan to travel around the US for 4 months. I travelled from Minneapolis to New Orleans during spring break and this was great. The overall experience of the US so far is super and there are still a lot of beautiful things to come.
