ABOUT ME

Wow, what an incredibly open-ended question. I'll be filling this in more if/when I have the time. Suffice it to say that I'm an outgoing, funseeking, yet open-minded personality that enjoys making new friendships, exploring new cultures, and having a good time while doing it!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a journey, so enjoy the ride! That includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. In terms of how and why I live my life the way I do, I think one of my favorite quotes sums it up pretty well: "You must be the change you wish to see in this world" - Mohandas K. Gandhi. Pretty deep stuff, especially if you let it sink in for a while...I've spent many hours pondering just that. Makes for a great philosophical conversation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started, but intend to be on both the giving and receiving ends of couch surfing. I'm looking forward to many exciting opportunities to meet new people and explore new territories.

Interests

Music - just about everything, although my most recent obsession has been with electronic, deep house, and dubstep tunes. I learned to play the Tabla (classical percussion instrument in Indian music) as a kid and would love to learn how to play the guitar one of these days.
Reading - I was much more of an avid reader as a kid, but I enjoy picking a good book every now and then.
Sports - I am a complete sports nut which includes everything from tennis, soccer, basketball, football, and cricket. I even tried a brief gig as a sports handicapper for an online sportsbook a couple years back.
Traveling - this one is fairly obvious.
Photography - a relatively new, but fascinating hobby that I picked up from a friend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it qualifies as amazing, but I've had the privilege of checking out the Taj Mahal twice in my life so far. Pictures do not do it justice.
