About Me

Really sad that I have to say this, but: I’m not looking for dating. I’m in a happy relationship already and not interested in anything else!

Hi! I'm Nicole, originally from Italy, currently living in Berlin, but my heart belongs to everywhere and nowhere. I work in the social field and I’m passionate about meaningful human connections.
I’m curious, cheerful, and respectful of people’s space and energy. I love discovering cultures through stories and conversations. Grateful by nature, I believe a warm smile and a plate of pasta can go a long way (yes, even vegan pasta 😉).
I won’t raid your fridge, buuuuut I might fill your kitchen with delicious smells!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because hotel rooms don’t tell stories.
I’m here to travel in a genuine way, meet amazing people, share moments, laughter, and meals. I believe the world is softer when seen from the couch of a kind stranger who might become a friend.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎶 Eclectic playlist: Florence + The Machine, Ludovico Einaudi, Manu Chao, Arctic Monkeys, and meaningful silences (as much as Raggaeton eheh)
🎬 Movies: Into the Wild, Her, La Grande Bellezza, El laberinto del Fauno, Scooby-Doo when I'm really sad.
📚 Books: From Montaigne to Murakami, Montessori to graphic novels. I like stories that leave something behind. Currently, in my Agatha Christie fiver.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Germany with no contacts, no plans, and a big suitcase full of courage. It wasn’t always easy, but it was absolutely worth it. Today, I’m stronger, more grounded, and way more open to life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Italian (or Veronese dialect, if you're brave), a few vegan cooking hacks (my vegan-lasagna is mammmamiaaaa), or how to hold space for a deep conversation.
I’d love to learn whatever you’d like to share: a song, a recipe, a story, a perspective.

What I Can Share with Hosts

🍝 Delicious vegan Italian food: I promise you won’t miss the cheese!
🧼 A tidy, respectful guest who knows when to chat and when to give space.
📚 Great conversation, travel stories, nighttime reflections on life (or on why plants are such drama queens).
✨ And if you'd like, I’ll bring a little something from my hometown, or just a warm smile every morning.
