Easy going guy up for just about anything, enjoying working abroad and travelling every chance I get.

Hmmm, what else??? Prefers pubs to clubs, beer to wine, newspapers to magazines, rugby to soccer and fresh water to salt water... but can adapt to suit my environment.

Still want more? Sloth is my favourite sin, yet I get restless if in one place for too long. Aries is my star sign. Any more and I think it would be considered mindless babbling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A little hosting/surfing experience but racking up quite a few CS meetings in various cities/countries which I really enjoy. I think it's great to get a bunch of people together from all over the world down to the pub, out in the countryside or off to some other event. I'm a regular in the Nottingham group so there's a good chance you'll see me if you come to one of our irregular impromptu meetings.

Travelling the world tops the list, but my more day to day interests include rugby, aussie rules footy, volleyball...most sports really, reading, going out to cinema, theatre, music, etc. No weird and wonderful hobbies unfortunately...except I've recently become addicted to skydiving! So if you're visiting Nottingham and wanting to do a jump here, let me know and I will come with you :)

I'm more of an action/sci-fi/thriller/art house rather than drama/comedy/romance kinda bloke when it comes to films. I guess I want to just relax and tune out when I'm watching a movie rather than have to think about it. Oh, and sub-titles don't bother me so I don't mind the odd "foreign" film or two.

As for music, generally yes to rock, metal, alternative and indie, but no to pop, techno and hip-hop stuff. But there are always exceptions to the rule.

I like historical fiction books, but only the ones where the author has bothered to research their history properly. Never read The Da Vinci Code or any Harry Potter book and never will...I'm a man of principle. Don't get me started on Twilight!

I had so many great adventures on my travels that I can't pin it down. But let's just say the only 2 times I have feared for my life were when I participated in the running of the bulls during San Fermin and nearly getting arrested at gunpoint in Egypt for camping in the wrong place!
