About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover the world while I'm still young. There are so many fantastic places.

ABOUT ME

I'm gonna cut the usual "open-minded and easy-going" stuff, because seems like everyone is on CS. I guess what makes me a tiny bit different is my ability to play with words and my creativity! During meals, you would see me unconsciously crafting little cubes out of paper napkins...by the end of the meal I'd have made 6 or 7 of them haha
I love talking about and sharing almost everything, and it's even better if you are a fellow music enthusiast or artist!
I'm tall, slender, dark-haired and -eyed. Typical french style if I may say. That's for starters, you would get to know more if you meet me in person!

PHILOSOPHY

My life is pretty much driven by curiosity: you always end up doing your most memorable experiences when you least expect them to happen, or decide to do things spontaneously. Of course, it sometimes goes to conflict with other values I grew up on, like dedication to your work or act mature, but life is too short to pass experiences or regret anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in the heart of Gangnam, probably the most known area of Seoul to foreigners. My place is a clean mid-sized room with mezzanine. It just got renovated.
Also, although I'm not 100% local, I know the city pretty well and can recommand you places to go, wether it's touristic spots or awesome bars and restaurants!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple people in France and Korea, and have met a couple other for diner and culture sharing : never been disappointed for that matter.

I've had a couple opportunities to surf a couch in the past. Nothing negative to report, but I need to travel more!

Interests

- Drawing : Anything. from people to cars, from norvegian landscapes to everyday's things. This eventually made me become an industrial designer!
- Music : Proud owner of 2 basses and 2 guitars, I like writing music, and live 24/7 with headphones on.
- Languages : In order to improve communication with tourists in Paris, locals when I travel, and also discover more about people in general, I love discovering new foreign langages, at least the basic grammar and survival vocabulary. I particularly enjoy the challenge of relearning writing and reading from scratch, like thai, korean, russian...
- Hanging out : Cause it's even better down the city, or at a nice terrace or cafe!
- Travelling : My parents are hardcore travellers, and I started tagging along around 4-5 years old. I haven't listed them all on my CS page, but I've visited over 30 cities, and maybe 20 countries. Later on, when I was able to travel on my own, I've always enjoyed taking long walks in totally unknown cities, getting totally lost and catching a glimpse of the local life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Long story short :

Movie : Anything with thinking robots or utopian/dystopian future worlds! Sunshine, District 9, Blade Runner, Elysium, Alien, etc
I also enjoy well made thrillers and 80's horror movies.

Music : pretty much everything you can't hear on radio stations, with a special affinity for prog. metal and electro.

Book : Tolkien, Asimov, etc...long series with deeply thought universes and paradigms!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen : I have seen a 20 meters high Torii in Tokyo. The most amazing thing ever, July 2008 & July 2010.

Done : I slept out in a bag, watching the stars in the Australian desert. Priceless, August 2007.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, movies, whisky? Maybe hang out together on weekends? :)
I'd love to share language basics too.

I can bring you stuff from Korea if you want!
