Overview
About Me
Hey! I'm Catherine and like so many others, I am an avid lover of traveling. This past year has been one where I finally learned to step outside my comfort zone and experience life in numerous new places. I have learned a lot about other cultures and myself through these journeys, but I haven't even come close yet to seeing and experiencing all that I want. I'm excited to continue my journeys and to meet others along the way who can change my perspective on life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people who can expose me to what life is really like in any given city, rather than just the typically glamorous view seen through a tourist site. I feel like there is a lot I could learn about other cultures by experiencing it from a local's point of view. I also want to dismantle any biases I may have about what a certain city is like and gain a better understanding of life in another place.
